Our group is based out of Orlando, and try to camp within a 100 mile radius of there. Our wagon master Lynda Blackford has quite a job getting us camp grounds for under $30.00 and with use of a clubhouse. As Florida is a very busy place to be in the winter months. We meet Sept. though May. At our camp outs there is always some kind of activities going on. We seek out interesting things to do in each area. I think I know more about Florida now then I do my home state of Indiana. And there is always the flea markets and garage sales. That can be fun, especially when that is a contest to see who got the best bargain or the dumbest item.
We LOVE to play games! Outdoor games, Bocce, Ladder jacks, Beanbag Baseball. And Scavenger Hunts, you never know what you may be hunting for, one time it was COWS. Indoor games, Mexican Train, Rummy Kube, and all kinds of cards.
And of course FOOD is very important to us. Whether it’s going out to eat or the great pot lucks, there is always' something good to eat.
