Increase/decrease text size in Internet Explorer 8 web browser

Short method: Use the keyboard shortcut 'Command' (cloverleaf) 'Control +'(plus) and 'Command Control -' (minus) to change web page size.

Long Method: This tip is for Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8), but it or something similiar will work in other versions of Internet Explorer. Eventually we shall have tips for all of the following browsers. PC (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and on the Mac (Safari, Firefox, Chrome).

Follow the steps below: Step 1

Choose Start Menu>Internet Explorer to open your web browser

Choose the Tools menu>Internet Options

In the Internet Options>'General' Pane, click the Fonts button under Appearance

choose any Latin font, it does not matter which one, and click 'OK'

When you clicked OK after choosing a font, it will bring you back to the General Tab. This time, click the Accessibility button next to the fonts button near the bottom of the window. Uncheck the Ignore font sizes specified on the webpages checkbox and click the OK button.

Back in your Browser window, click the View menu to drop the menu down, and choose Text Size>Largest
